One-Shot-Assassin

One-Shot is a top-down puzzle-action game where a incompetent, yet resourceful hitman must complete his job with only one bullet. Players are challenged to line up the perfect bullet shot and take out all the targets in each level.

 

Game Flow 

 

Each level is considered a “Mission” for the hitman with four Phases: Prep, Aim, Shoot and Aftermath. The player is fixed to one spot and must set up an arena for the perfect shot with their bullet. The player is given an arsenal of objects to place on the stage in gray tiles. Using tools like corners, walls and barrels allow the bullet to travel far and let the player maximize their kills. The Player wins if they can kill every enemy in the Mission with their bullet. Restarting can happen at any time the player feels as if they’re going to fail, or if the bullet is stuck in a loop.

Prep 

The player can click and drag objects from the bottom of the screen to squares in the game. If the object turns opaque, it can be placed. 

Aim 

The player carefully aims their shot with the mouse 

Shoot 

The player shoots their bullet and watches it fly 

Aftermath 

The player views how well they took out the targets. If ALL targets are killed, pressing F will advance to the next level.
